I'm a high school senior based in New York City with a passion for policy, politics, international relations, and law. I’m equally drawn to the power of data, civic engagement, and languages, and I love spending my time in the arts, athletics, and connecting with new people. I'm always looking for ways to connect big ideas with real-world impact.
A look into the initiatives I’ve launched and contributed to — spanning policy, law, civic engagement, and global affairs. These projects reflect my interests in real-world impact, leadership, and bridging disciplines to create meaningful change.
I love exploring the world through storytelling, whether that’s through writing, performance, or photography. Creativity helps me connect ideas, people, and perspectives in unexpected ways.
Sports have taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of team spirit. Here’s a snapshot of my athletic journey — from training and competition to the medals and moments I’m proud of.
I founded Double Take to create space for students to explore their futures — in AI and ethics, politics and global change, and more. We host weekly meetings at Hunter in NYC and are growing a network of chapters worldwide. This fall, we’re launching our flagship conference, “Our Time Is Now”, in partnership with The Economist — bringing together students, policymakers, and thought leaders to reimagine youth engagement in global issues.
As a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, I had the opportunity to work closely with two incredible federal magistrate judges. I conducted legal research, observed court proceedings, and gained firsthand insight into the judicial process at one of the nation’s most influential courts.
As an intern at the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, I’ve supported preparations for General Assembly sessions, assisted with speech editing for senior diplomats, contributed to cultural diplomacy efforts, and monitored key developments in international policy and multilateral negotiations. This experience has given me a front-row seat to international diplomacy and deepened my understanding of global governance, soft power, and the role of international law in shaping the world stage.
Throughout high school, I’ve served in multiple student government roles, including Class President and Senator. I’ve worked to elevate student voices, advocate for policy changes, and foster a stronger, more inclusive school community.
I’m passionate about giving back to my school and community. As a Big Sib, I was selected to mentor younger HCHS students during their transition into high school. I also tutor peers in English literacy, writing, Spanish, and math, and I stay active in community service to support causes I care deeply about.
I founded The Hunter Law Review to help students engage with the law through research, writing, and discussion. Each month, we focus on a different legal theme, host workshops, and publish legal analysis. Our goal is to make legal thinking accessible — and to publish work that sparks real conversations.
Hawk AI is a student-led initiative that brings together tech, policy, and ethics. We explore the promise and perils of artificial intelligence through events, workshops, and collaborative projects. Our goal is to build AI literacy, help students understand its evolving role in our lives, and empower students to shape the future of technology responsibly.

I’ve been part of the Hunter College High School Girls Varsity Swim Team since 9th grade — starting out as team manager and now in the running for Team Captain. My favorite strokes are breaststroke and freestyle, and I train five mornings a week at 6am. It’s a major commitment, but super rewarding — especially being part of one of the top 8 teams in NYC.
Since 9th grade, I’ve rowed with City Island Rowing, training six days a week on the Varsity team. Rowing has taught me how to push through limits, work as one with everyone in the boat, and stay grounded through even the toughest pieces. It’s one of the most demanding, yet empowering, parts of my life.
I fell in love with surfing on the California coast (San Onofre, Huntington Beach, and more), and this summer, I turned that passion into purpose by teaching others. As a surf instructor with SurfsUpNY at Rockaway Beach, I worked with kids and adults alike, helping them overcome fear, master the basics, and build confidence in the ocean.
Send me a message or ask me a question using this form. I will get back to you soon!
